Truer words have never been spoken. I felt like I held my breath for the first half of the book. It moved me. I cried because I could relate so heavily with it. Katrina writes about the lessons she has had to learn about life, but also what those lessons taught her, how it shaped her. Beauty is written in between the pages of the book. The strength it takes to look at yourself and truly reflect on your life and be honest with yourself, is a hard task. She has Reflections after each chapter where she asks very thought provoking questions and I loved them. If you take the time to actually answer those questions, you can see an answer more clearly for yourself. It’s a groundwork for starting your own path and before you know it, you don’t even realize you just opened the first door.
